Alfreton Window Manufacturers Gowercroft Are Finalists In Top Industry Awards
Alfreton based timber window manufacturers Gowercroft Joinery has been nominated for two major industry awards for its pioneering Heritage Range of timber windows.
The company, which is celebrating 20 years of trading, has been shortlisted in the ‘New Product of the Year’ category in the G18 Awards – a prestigious event which is often billed as the ‘Oscars of the glass and glazing industry’.
In addition, the Heritage Range of timber windows has reached the finals of this year’s ‘Build It Awards’, which recognise the best products, services, projects and innovations available to self-builders and renovators. This achievement follows the company’s previous win in the ‘Best Windows’ category in 2017.
Already hailed as a revolutionary development within the building conservation market, the Winston Heritage sliding sash windows and Richmond Heritage casement windows are the first to successfully recreate the classic appearance of the single-glazed windows of the past, whilst delivering exceptional modern performance benefits.
Their combination of traditional joinery, high quality Accoya® timber, Pilkington Spacia™ ultra-thin vacuum glazing and the latest micro-porous paint coatings is unique, meaning that for the first time, owners of older and listed properties can benefit from genuinely traditional looking wooden windows, which also offer modern levels of heat and noise insulation, maintenance, durability, sustainability and low life-cycle costs.
Award nomination marks 20 years for Window Manufacturers
Andrew Madge, Managing Director of Gowercroft Joinery said: “We are delighted to have been nominated for these two top industry awards to mark this our twentieth year of business!
“We have put in an enormous amount of effort into the research and development of our new Heritage Range of products, which we believe will contribute massively to the future growth of our company and help further our commitment to the local economy.”
Gowercroft Joinery is a locally-owned business, which has been rooted in Derbyshire for its whole 20-year history.
